Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every file is decoded and combined entirely in your browser, so your audio never leaves your device. Nothing is uploaded at any point.
Can I merge files that are in different formats?
Yes. You can mix any formats your browser can decode — for example an MP3, a WAV and an M4A — and they are joined into a single track that you download as WAV or MP3.
How do I set the order of the tracks?
Each file you add appears in a list. Use the up and down controls to arrange them, and the result is stitched together in exactly that order.
What if my files have different sample rates or channels?
That is handled automatically. The files are resampled to a common rate and mixed to a consistent channel layout so the joined track plays back smoothly.
Is there a gap between the joined tracks?
No. Each track starts the instant the previous one ends, so the files play back-to-back with no added silence.
Should I download WAV or MP3?
Choose WAV for lossless quality, or MP3 for a much smaller file that is easy to share and plays almost anywhere. For MP3 you can also choose the bitrate.
