PGL Major Krakow 2017 Main Event

The Major Krakow offline qualifier ended in July 2nd, seeding the last 8 teams to the main event. These teams will join the 8 Legend status teams already qualified from the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta, in which team Astralis came out victorious taking the $500,000 prize home.

This Major will have the prize pool of $1,000,000, which is normal on a Major, and the winner will take $500,000.
The events Group Stage will be played according to the following rules:

• 16 team swiss-tournament
• Every match is Bo1

Teams that advance to the Playoffs will face these rules:

• Single-elimination bracket
• Best-of-three quarterfinals, semi-finals and grand final

The top 8 teams will be granted Legend status and will automatically be qualified for the next Major.

The PGL Major Krakow Main Event will start in July 16, with the final being played in July 23.
