BioWare unveiled today the new sci-fi game, Anthem. During today’s Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference, the first gameplay of the game was revealed. Anthem was shown running on the Xbox One X.

Anthem has some RPG elements like XP, which is rewarded for the discovery of new areas. Item drops, such as guns, can be seen on the footage also. It is still uncertain if the game is a MMO game or only multiplayer co-op, but its certainly playable with friends.

The game has exo-suits, named Javelins, that are a key part of the game. They are equipped with jetpacks that seem to operate somewhat similarly to those in Mass Effect: Andromeda, but they also have mounted guns such has mortars and rockets.

During E3, Phil Spencer, head of XBOX, said that this and other games will have Xbox One X enhancement packs such as 4K resolution and HDR lighting.

The game is set to release in 2018, with date and time yet to be announced.
