During Bethesda’s E3 briefing, the company unveiled a new Wolfenstein installment. It’s called Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, and we have a glimpse of gameplay in the trailer they showed at the conference.
Liesel, a giant Panzerhund makes an appearance has what appears to be a new war pet. The Nazi officer, Frau Engel, appears once again and she is terrifying as in Wolfenstein: The New Order.
The game takes place in Nazi-occupied America, where racist extremists such as the KKK are common and welcome by the nazis. This takes the player to a rebel faction trying to take down the nazi forces and all their allies.
The nazis are well equipped, with giant robotic machines, massive weaponry and something like exo-suits can be see also in the trailer. But, BJ Blazkowicz has an stylized power suit, that includes an extremely boxy helmet that doesn’t appear to have eye holes.
The New Colossus will only have a single-player campaign like The New Order. And the game is set to be released in October 27th 2017.
