So far, CD Projekt Red had confirmed that a multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077 would be in R & D mode (research and development) at the studio in Wroclaw. Now the studio has announced that this hurdle has been taken and officially a multiplayer mode is to be realized.
Cyberpunk 2077 single player is planned to be released next year and currently it looks like that the multiplayer will be replenished sometime later. This is followed by free download extensions (DLCs) and other content for single players – most likely as in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. “Once they’re done,” then the multiplayer action should follow.

Details on the multiplayer mode were not made. So it’s not known if there will be death matches or if they want to use the open world somehow differently. In addition, new employees are wanted for the multiplayer mode of the game, go for job advertisement.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16, 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
